Whitecaps, TRIA renew sponsorship deal through 2023-24 season

MINNEAPOLIS — The Minnesota Whitecaps and TRIA rink have announced a three-year renewal of a sponsorship deal that will last through the end of the 2023-24 season. With this sponsorship deal, TRIA will continue to be the Official Medical Provider of the Minnesota Whitecaps. The partnership is the Whitecap’s largest sponsorship deal in the team’s history.

“TRIA has been a proud partner and medical provider for the Minnesota Whitecaps since their inaugural season as a professional women’s hockey team, playing their home games at TRIA Rink. From day one, we’ve been committed to providing the same level of medical care for the Whitecaps as we do for the Minnesota Wild, and we’re proud to be professional hockey’s first all-female medical team in the country,” said Phillip Lee, TRIA’S Senior Group Marketing Manager. “We’re excited to renew our commitment to this amazing professional hockey team, and we look forward to the many accomplishments and milestones ahead.”

As part of the sponsorship deal, the Whitecaps will continue to wear a TRIA patch on both home and away jerseys, as well as on signage and backdrops around TRIA Arena. TRIA also sponsors Minnesota’s penalty kill and will have other activations through the Whitecaps’ social channels.

"From our inaugural season in the PHF, we've been proud to have TRIA as a partner and medical provider for the team,” said Whitecaps assistant general manager Samantha Mellies-U’Ren. “The commitment they've shown to the Whitecaps in providing the best medical care, and their continued investment in growing the sport of women's professional hockey, means so much to us. We're very excited to continue working with the great team at TRIA."
